What We Collect

We collect only the information you choose to provide when making a contribution: your name or username, an optional message, optional social-media handles, and an optional profile image. No account is created and no personal data beyond this is retained by us.

Publicly Visible Information

When you provide a name or username, social-media links, a message, or a profile image with your contribution, that information is intentionally made public to attribute and celebrate your support. It is visible to anyone viewing the contributions display. If your contribution earns a top-contributor slot, your name, image, message, and social handles will appear on the public leaderboard.

Payment details (card number, billing address, etc.) are never seen or stored by us — they are handled exclusively by Stripe and remain entirely private.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, which may collect payment details, device information, and behavioral signals to process transactions and prevent fraud. We receive only a confirmation of the transaction and the contribution amount — never your raw card data. Stripe's use of your information is governed by their own privacy policy.

How We Use Your Information

  • Display your name, message, social links, and image on the public contributions feed and leaderboard
  • Track progress toward goals
  • Respond to support inquiries you initiate

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing. We do not send you unsolicited email.

Refund Policy

Contributions are generally non-refundable, as funds go directly toward the stated goal. Exceptions are made for duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, or where otherwise required by applicable law. If you believe you have an eligible claim, contact us within 30 days of the charge.

Data Retention

Your contribution record (name, message, amount, and optional public profile data) is retained for record-keeping and display purposes. If you would like your attribution information removed from the public display, contact us and we will process your request within 5 business days.
